holistic health education

holistic health education is a powerful tool to assist you to take charge of your health.

Make Sure You Have Enough ZincIf you are looking for a healthy life that allows you to perform to your fullest extent in all ways, you will want to make sure you have enough zinc in your body. It is actually a very important part of your everyday and many people do not even realize it.

Without having integrated holistic health education we are all walking around every day thinking that we are in good health because we are not currently feeling symptoms.

What you will be surprised to know is that most of us have a pre-medical condition! This is largely due to the fact that we do not give our bodies enough of the nutrients it needs in order to function to full capacity.

In fact, a lot of us are just one heartbeat away from our bodies going completely haywire. When you would utilize the holistic health education as a powerful tool you will be able to discover what is challenging your health and act upon it.

Most of us do not realize we are this way because it creeps up on us slowly. Zinc deficiency is one of those instances where you do not know it is there until it shows its ugly face in symptom form. The mineral Zinc helps our bodies fight off illnesses that we also might not realize exist. This alone makes zinc a very important factor in our daily diets.

It is reported that around half of our population suffers from some form of zinc deficiency or another. The lack of zinc in enough quantity can lead way to problems that are not so harmful all the way to those conditions that are serious, holistic health education, can also teach us which nutrients are required at a specific time.

Being that our immune system is not as strong when we lack zinc, we are not able to get rid of colds like we normally would and problems such as dandruff are not able to be treated; even with prescription shampoos. We can also even be hindered in the way wee smell and taste things.

So many people do not have enough zinc due to a number of reasons. The biggest reason is that we make wrong food choices. A lot of refined foods do not have enough zinc in them to create stable zinc consumption. The more we grab fast food, the more we are at risk for a zinc deficiency. Moreover, even the soil that our food grows in does not contain enough zinc because of chemicals and over fertilization.

Let’s look at it from another point of view. Our body works in a cycle; one break in the cycle and a number of problems will unfold. In many people’s diets today, there is a large consumption of carbohydrates (glucose).

In order to break carbohydrates down, insulin is needed. Being that we take in a large amount of carbohydrates, we use a lot of insulin. In order to create insulin, we need a good supply of zinc. Without it, we could end up with an insulin deficiency, insulin resistance and a host of many other problems and diseases.

Insulin resistance can create pre- diabetic conditions or even diabetic conditions within a person. Foods that are high in zinc are what people need to eat in order to prevent insulin resistance (among other things) including gras fed meats, nuts and seeds. There are a large variety of foods that contain an adequate amount of zinc which you can work into your daily diet. You will find that the insulin resistance diet is not hard at all.

In addition to your diet, there are other aspects of your life that will lower your zinc. Your metabolic functioning is closely related to the amount of stress you have and harmful substances that you put in your body such as alcohol.

So, as a whole, a person needs to make sure they are eating a solid diet that includes zinc and then not taking part in activities that deplete zinc;holistic health education can show you the way.
